Adult Martial Arts

We strongly believe that in order to be a better parent, spouse, co-worker or any other role you may take on, you have to focus on the most important person in your life – yourself.

Once you start our adult program, you will quickly identify an improved physical confidence with an increased feeling of strength, flexibility, stamina and overall energy. You will observe an improved mental confidence that may have been lost along your life journey. You will notice your focus will improve as well as your ability for decision-making. You will find yourself being greatly motivated to set high goals and finding the strategies to accomplish them without procrastination or excuses. Many of our adult students have approached us wondering why they waited so long, many of them being black belts today. So what are you waiting for?

Our primary goal is to make sure you are treated with compassion and patience. You will develop a new sense of confidence that will enable your body to adapt and perform more complex movements such as kicking, punching and grappling required in a self defense situation.

Will I get hurt?

Our program is well organized and structured in a way that we do not comprise your safety. We realize that one of your biggest concerns might be the overall physical nature of the martial arts. That is why our curriculum is designed to teach all the techniques in a safe manner in order to significantly decrease the potential of bodily injuries. We pride ourselves in providing a well structured curriculum with state of the art Zebra mats, well padded equipment as well as protective sparring gear. Our classes are highly supervised and our environment is clean and sanitary to ensure maximum safety.

Do I have to be in shape to start?

Absolutely not! When you join Boston Tae Kwon Do, you’re getting both a mental and physical make over. Whether you are looking to shed a few of pounds, release a little bit of stress, or looking to improve your self-confidence by learning how to defend yourself, you have come to the right place! You are never in a class that is either too fast or too slow of a pace. Our curriculum is specifically designed to be challenging, rewarding and never boring. It is our goal to make you realize that if we can motivate and inspire you enough then there is no obstacle that is too big for you to overcome.

How many days a week do I need to train?

Our program is a two day/week curriculum. We encourage you to take advantage of the rest of our facility by jumping into kickboxing, weight training, spin and other group fitness classes, all complimentary with your martial arts membership!
